Abstract: Summary of some of the selection character issues for new cultivars of burr medic : for low rainfall regions (275-350 mm annual average rainfall) the earliest flowering varieties of burr medic have not been as productive as slightly later types under normal grazing conditions (particularly grazing through flowering).
