This code of practice provides practical guidance for the safe, responsible and effective use of agricultural and veterinary chemicals. Issues covered include: duty of care, choice and purchase of chemicals, transport, storage, occupational safety and health, environmental protection, management and minimisation of spray drift, minimising residues in agricultural produce, record keeping, reponsibilities for owners. The code does not cover the use of prescription animal remedies or fertilisers.
