Denmark is a persistent late-flowering subterranean clover suited to moderately acid, well-drained soils with an annual rainfall of more than 650 mm and where the growing season extends into late November. Its resistance to both known races of clover scorch makes it well suited to areas in Western Australia prone to the disease. Details covered in the Farmnote include: origin, description, disease and pest resistance, seeds, field performance, use of Denmark, and production and marketing.
