This Farmnote discusses the characteristics of Tammarin Rock, a new semi-dwarf, quick maturing Australian Hard wheat with moderate resistance to stripe rust, an alternative to Westonia or EGA Bonnie Rock. It has overall yield performance but is highly susceptible to pre-harvest sprouting, and will therefore be most suitable for the eastern wheatbelt, north-east of a line from Mullewa to Morawa-Wongan Hills-Tammin-Bruce Rock in Agzone 4, Western Australia.
