Goulburn is a persistent late-midseason subterranean clover suited to moderately acid, well-drained soils with an annual rainfall of approximately 600-1000 mm and where the growing season extends into mid-late November. Its resistance to both known races of clover scorch makes it well suited to areas in Western Australia prone to the disease. Details covered in the Farmnote include: origin, description, disease and pest resistance, seeds, field performance, use of Goulburn, and production and marketing.
