"This project was initiated to address key concerns about the establishment of permanent pastures in the farming systems of the Upper South East, and to promote the principles of the "seven steps for success with dryland lucerne". An early project review recommended that it become more focused, to deal only with dryland lucerne pastures, and farming practices related to this.
