The aim of the project was to collect and interpret data on crop response to a severe frost event in the grainbelt of Western Australia; to apply the data to predicting the effect of frost on grain production and quality at a farm and regional scale; to accelerate publication of a practical guide for identifying frost damage in a range of crops; to build a DSS to assess the risk of frost and predict the timing of critical developmental stages in crops.
