The aim of the project was to develop economically viable management systems that minimise the impact of wheat leaf diseases in medium/high rainfall areas of Western Australia. The project promoted the concept of fungicide disease control as an additional management tool in integrated disease management of wheat. Specific leaf diseases of wheat investigated include Septoria nodorum blotch (Phaeosphaeria nodorum), yellow spot (Pyrenophora tritici-repentis) and leaf rust (Puccinia recondita)
