The aim of the project was to quantify intake of tagasaste by cattle grazing throughout the year and under various supplementation and integrated management systems in Australia to determine whether the lack of growth of animals grazing tagasaste during the summer and autumn period was due to an inadequate intake of tagasaste. Intake was also quantified in sheep in pen feeding studies inovlving fistulated sheep.
