A grassed waterway is a natural or constructed channel that is shaped to required dimensions and established with suitable vegetation to allow stable movement of temporary runoff. Planning, design and construction of grassed waterways to convey runoff from grade banks, diversions, dam overflows or other water concentrations, without causing erosion or flooding. Also includes information on legal and environmental aspects.
