Abstract: (En)
Using lime is the best management practice to increase soil pH and maintain production in Western Australia. A possible short term solution is choosing to change to more acid tolerant wheat species. This farmnote provides information on plant tolerance, measuring soil pH and aluminium toxicity, tolerance of wheat varieties to toxic soil aluminium levels and symptoms of soil acidity in wheat.
