Abstract: (En)
The project aimed to develop new export vegetables for Western Australia such as burdock (Arctium lapa), daikon (Raphanus sativus), and shallots (Allium ascalonicum). This project investigated the cultural practices required to successfully grow these vegetables in Western Australia. Desk top studies have also been conducted on Japanese taro (Colocasia esculenta var. antiquorum), Japanese yam (Dioscorea batatas), vegetable green soybean (edamame) and Japanese broad bean (Soramame) with initial field trial
