Abstract: Soursob, Oxalis pes-caprae L., has grown for many years in the south-west of Western Australia. A survey indicated that O. pes-caprae was confined mainly to water courses and adjacent flat areas subjected to flooding, suggesting that water was the major agent in distributing bulbs. A study of species found during the survey indicated considerable morphological variation. Basing variation on leaflet markings, sepal colouring and style length some 30 varieties were noted but only two, a short-styled varietynd a mid-styled variety, were found infesting land used for agriculture.
