Abstract: (En)
The pea leaf weevil (Sitona lineatus) is one of many exotic Sitona species that is potentially a threat to the pulse and lupin industries of Western Australia. Other pests of the same species include Sitona discoideous, formerly known as Sitona humeralis. This Factsheet discusses identification of the pea leaf weevil, world distribution, introduction to Western Australia and its spread potential, plants that it affects, life cycle and season of occurrence, damage it can cause, and control of the pest.
