Abstract: The aim of the project was to focus on identifying improved host resistance of canola to blackleg in Western Australia, improved cultural practices and more effective chemical strategies needed for minimising losses from blackleg and to ensure sustainability of the Western Australian canola industry. The research also focused on clearly defining the threat posed by various other fungal diseases to canola crops in Western Australia.
