This Bulletin discusses the state management strategy to control wild dogs (Canis familiaris, Canis familiaris dingo and hybrids) in Western Australia.The aim of the wild dog management strategy is not to eliminate wild dogs from the state, but to control their impact on domestic stock. A state-wide strategy is essential to enable the community to manage the impacts of wild dogs effectively. All land managers (both private and public) and the community need to be involved.
