This DVD looks at how overgrazing in the Ord Valley catchment has caused erosion. Work to regenerate and revegetate the area began with the building of the Ord River Dam in 1960. The original aim of the project was to treat the degraded and eroded land of the Ord River and Turner River stations. Controlled grazing was established by fencing large areas. Reseeding and contour banks were used. The video goes on to show how bare areas were cultivated and seeded with kapok bush, birdwood grass and buffel gras
