The study area is bounded to the east by the western fringe of the Great Plateau of Western Australia, known also as the Darling Plateau or more commonly as the Darling Range, and extends westwards to the coast. The area encompasses the Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary. Geobility system. Land capability assessments for specific land use activities, and values for individual land qualities, are presented in tabular form.
