Examines the compensatory growth response of cattle and sheep after the same level of restriction had been imposed for the same time and at the same stage of maturity. Concurrently the compensatory growth response of sheep subjected to differing levels of undernutrition and the changes in rumen kinetics during compensatory growth were also studied.
