Provides a method of placing realistic differences in value on young bulls offered for sale. The characteristic likely to have the greatest effect upon the value of bulls is reproductive capacity. Other characteristics are likely to range from small effects of muscularity, and birth weight to moderate effects of estimated breeding values (EBV) for growth, maturity type and maternal ability.
