The relationship between plant yield and the level of phosphorus (P) appliedas superphosphate was measured for different crop species in a field experiment on uniform yellow sandplain soil in a low rainfall (326 mm annual average, 220 average growing season) area at South Carrabin, 300 km east of Perth, Western Australia.
