Abstract:

A number of replicated field trials were established in country regions. A range of Trifolium species were included, however persian clover (T. resupinatum) and balansa clover (T. michelianum) were the major species evaluated. A number of accessions of these two species were selected for the field trials on the basis of hardseed content, seed yield and vigour.
