The soils and landforms of 6000 km2 of the Manjimup area in Western Australia are presented as two map sheets at a scale of 1:100,000. Forty-eight mapping units were recognized in the area and identified by local names. They related stongly to geology and landforms. The units were categorized into the four broad physiographic features of the area, namely the Darling Plateau, the Blackwood Plateau, the Scott Coastal Plain and the associated drainage elements.
