Examined a number of management options for the recently commercialized murex medic species and developed recommendations for successful management of this species. Re-establishment in the second year will be enhanced if the pods can be buried by a shallow cultivation prior to the seasonal break. Approximately a 50 per cent increase in plant density can be expected if this strategy is successfully implemented.
