This paper discusses the recovery rate of feral pigs 12 months after a 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) baiting program. This program was carried out in the north-west of Western Australia. The feeding program, pig numbers after baiting and the recovery rate of the pigs are discussed. The findings are mainly in respect to applying them to ongoing development of management strategies to reduce the impact of feral pigs and their role in exotic and endemic wildlife diseases.
