The theory of calculating solar position is described. Using this theory, a number of computing routines are prepared in the C programming language. These routines are suitable for users who program in C, and have an ANSI compatible C compiler. These routines are fully documented, with both the underlying theory, and code particulars, and may be used as a stand alone reference.
