Abstract:
As part of "on farm demonstrations", weaners from the Kimberley region were run on farms in a number of different locations in the south west of Western Australia. A variety of management systems were used and included both pasture alone or combinations of pasture and grain (feedlot) feeding systems. Cattle were weighed on arrival and at various intervals throughout the finishing period.
