The sheep and lamb industry in Western Australia has a high level of production capability with potential for increased earnings in both the domestic and export markets. It is failing to achieve this potential beacause it is fragmented, lacks direction and is perceived by many of its stakeholders to have a poor image, both of its products and of itself as an industry.
