The former Department of Agriculture (now Agriculture Western Australia), North-West Branch, began its operations in the Meekatharra-Wiluna area in 1952, based at Wiluna. In 1970 it became the Division of Resource Management and later moved its base to Meekatharra where it continues to operate today. This document is an account of the research undertaken by this Branch over the past 40 years, and it provides a general explanation of the results.
