Abstract: This video gives an introduction to some of the issues involved in the stream and river restoration process. It looks at some of the problems and causes associated with the current state of inland waterways around the country. Mentioned is the ten step restoration program of the Canadian stream hydrologist, Bob Newbury, who facilitated a workshop on the Mary River in Queensland during 1996.
