The West Mullewa Catchment is a subcatchment of the Greenough River. The main drainage lines flowing out of the catchment to the Grennough River are The Kockatea Gully, The Wooderarrung River and The Wenmilla Creek. The catchment straddles two major fault lines, The Darling and The Urella. Because of this there are distinct geological and topographic variations in the landscape.
