The Clackline Brook catchment is situated 70 km east of Perth between Bakers Hills and Clackline. The catchment is primarily agricultural in nature and covers an area of approximately 4,000 hectares. It is rapidly becoming an area of fragmented large holdings around the catchment boundary, special rural zones and small landholdings. The aim of this study was to provide a better understanding of landholders in the catchment for the extension of land management information. It was designed to provide sttegic information on land use, land degradation, landcare concerns, land management practices, information requirements for land management, community networks and schedules for landcare activities.
