South Tammin Catchment is located 160 km east of Perth. Contained within this document is the collation of biophysical, economic and social data relevant to farming properties within the South Tammin catchment. The information was collected during the Focus Catchment process and used as a basis for assessing best practice farm management and developing catchment plans with the aim of improving the agricultural production, and environmental and landscape sustainability of South Tammin Catchment. The Focus tchment process is a recommended action from the 1996 Salinity Action Plan aimed at, amongst other objectives, "reducing further deterioration and wherever possible, recovering existing salt-affected land". The process endeavours to introduce new and va able technical information to a group and assist in the development of catchment and farm plans.
