The aim of the wheat breeding program is to produce well-adapted, high-yielding wheat varieties for the Western region of Australia that are suitable for the Australian Soft Wheat, Australian Premium Wheat, Noodles, Australian Hard and Australian Soft grades.Selection of resistance to the main diseases encountered in Western Australia and varieties of varying maturity produced to provide flexibility in sowing time. Varieties released include: Cadoux, Amery, Stretton, Cascades, Datatine, Tammin, Carnamah, nderdin, Kalannie, Perenjori.
